MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 3 MOVIE REVIEW
Mission: Impossible 3 is directed by J. J. Abrams and stars Tom Cruise, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Ving Rhames, Billy Crudup, Michelle Monaghan, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Keri Russell, Maggie Q, and Laurence Fishburne. The plot of the movie is IMF Agent Ethan Hunt comes into conflict with a dangerous and sadistic arms dealer who threatens his life and his fiancee in response. This is such a fast-paced enjoyable movie with great direction for the most part. The aspect of Ethan Hunt now being retired and with him trying to protect his fiancee played by Michelle Monaghan and him having to go back on duty to not only save the IMF but also his friends and family. I found that a completely compelling and really intriguing reason to bring Ethan Hunt back into the force. Phillip Seymour Hoffman played an excellent villain. His character is smart he is always a couple steps ahead. Any scene with Hoffman and Cruise is so much fun to watch. J. J. Abrams did a great job with most of this movie but, for a lot of the action scenes, he did use shaky-cam. It never gets to a point where I couldn't tell what was going on but, it was annoying. I don't know why directors think shaky-cam is cool it is not. Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell is back he has some of the funniest lines and is just as likable as he was in the first two movies. Tom Cruise is great once again and this movie has one of my favorite stunts so far when he jumps from rooftop to rooftop. 4 out of 5 stars for Mission: Impossible 3. I hope you enjoyed my review.
