SICARIO MOVIE REVIEW
Sicario is directed by Denis Villeneuve and stars Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro, Josh Brolin, and Victor Garber. The plot of the movie is an idealistic FBI agent is enlisted by a government task force to aid in the escalating war against drugs at the border area between the U.S. and Mexico. This movie is fantastic. Emily Blunt is great and this might be her best work. She plays a character who is being introduced to the grimmest dirtiest world she could imagine and the shock and bewilderment that is constantly on her face she handles very well. I thought Benicio del Toro really surprised me. I am not the biggest fan of him, but he gave what I think is the best performance in the movie. Josh Brolin is extremely likable as this cowboy-like cop. He doesn't really care what people think about him, but he is very good at his job and he is excellent as well. The movie flows extremely well as a suspense film. Even a small scene where nothing remarkable happens you are constantly thinking something is about to happen. There is no hope in this movie it is very dark and I loved every minute of it. 5 out of 5 stars for Sicario. I hope you enjoyed my review.
