JURASSIC PARK MOVIE REVIEW
Jurassic Park is directed by Steven Spielberg and stars Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Richard Attenborough, Bob Peck, Martin Ferrero, B.D. Wong, Samuel L. Jackson, Wayne Knight, Joseph Mazzello and Ariana Richards. The plot of the movie is During a tour, a theme park suffers a major power breakdown that allows its cloned dinosaur exhibits to run amok. From a visual effects standpoint, this movie was absolutely groundbreaking. Watching this movie 25 years later the CGI in this movie still is astounding. It is fantastic the realism they were able to create with the dinosaurs. Also, this film used an incredible amount of realistic props and that is a credit to Spielberg wanting to do it that way. Each one of the characters wasn't just somebody who could run away from dinosaurs. Each one of them had an interesting thing about them that made them human. The children in this film are not annoying they actually had a huge part in this film. Usually, kids in movies suck at acting and are annoying in general, but these kids were good. Spielberg is a master at working with children in film. Alan Grant played by Sam Neil starts off not wanting to have anything to do with children and by the end he has formed a relationship with the two kids. Laura Durn's character isn't just some damsel in distress she's actually a strong female role. She's great in the film and she has good chemistry with Sam Neil you believe their relationship. Jeff Goldblum in this movie is one of the most entertaining characters of the 90s. The character of Ian Malcolm is so much fun, but he's not just some wacky goofy sidekick guy who pops jokes. He's actually a ligament well-written character and he's the guy who foreshadows what is going to happen. Richard Attenborough plays Hammond the creator of Jurassic Park and as the movie progresses you get to see so much about his character. You find out why he wanted to make a park like this and why it's hurting him so much that it is not working out. This movie takes its time to tell the story. It takes time so you get to know the characters and to get you to understand the story. Then dinosaurs are everywhere and it is absolutely riveting. Jurassic Park is one of my favorite movies of all time. It's one of the best movies that come out in the 90s. 5 out of 5 stars for Jurassic Park. I hope you enjoyed my review.
