INCREDIBLES 2 MOVIE REVIEW
Incredibles 2 is directed by Brad Bird and stars Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell, Huck Milner, and Samuel L. Jackson. The plot of the movie is Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible) is left to care for Jack-jack while Helen (Elastigirl) is out saving the world. This movie is fantastic. One of my fears was that Elastigirl was going to take all the spotlight in this movie and the family as a whole would take a backseat. Superhero wise we would just see a whole bunch of Elastigirl action and no action from anyone else. Thankfully that is not the case. A big part of this movie is the family discovering that Jack-Jack does have superpowers. So the family has to deal with this unpredictable baby that's floating around, going through walls, teleporting, shooting lasers out of his eyes and other stuff. It makes for some really good humor lookout for the raccoon. Violet got a good amount of focus too. I was happy to see that she was one of my favorite characters from the first movie. I always tend to sympathize with the shy insecure teenage characters. So Mr. Incredible has to take care of Violet's insecurities and dashes rowdiness. The villain in this movie is called the Screenslaver his power is he can use screens to hypnotize people. One of the best kinds of villains is a villain that is so formidable and poses such a threat that the things the villain does keeps you on the edge of your seat and you have no idea how the heroes are going to beat him. That's what the Screenslaver was in this movie. One of the things I really appreciated about this movie is that its plot is completely different from the first one. A lot of sequels tend to be carbon copies of the originals. Incredibles 2 completely new story with different twists and turns that keep you guessing. Sure there are a few throwbacks to the original movie, but only a few. The action in this movie is intense for me it got to the point where I was on the edge of my seat because I care about these characters so much. 5 out of 5 stars for Incredibles 2. I hope you enjoyed my review.
