Lady Bird is directed by Greta Gerwig and stars Saoirse Ronan, Laurie Metcalf, Tracy Letts, Lucas Hedges, Timothee Chalamet, Beanie Feldstein, Stephen McKinley Henderson, and Lois Smith.  The plot of the movie is in the early 2000s, an artistically-inclined seventeen-year-old comes of age in Sacramento, California.    This was another movie that was getting awards buzz.  Like most films that get awards buzz, I found this movie boring and hard to get through. I thought the main character Lady Bird was extremely unlikable. She came off as a spoiled brat it made the movie difficult to sit through. I do think that the actress Saoirse Ronan did a great job in the role.    The other characters didn't bother me, but I am not going to remember any of them in a day or two. The rest of the cast did a fine job, but no one stands out as being the best. The movie is very slow-paced as well. Usually, with films that are getting awards buzz, I can see why even if I don't like the movie, but I can't with this one.  1 out of 5 stars for Lady Bird. I hope you enjoyed my review.
