THOR: RAGNAROK MOVIE REVIEW
Thor: Ragnarok is directed by Taika Waitti and stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, Mark Ruffalo, and Anthony Hopkins. The plot of the movie is imprisoned, the mighty Thor finds himself in a lethal gladiatorial contest against The Hulk, his former ally. Thor must fight for survival and race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela from destroying his home and the Asgardian civilization. I thought the other Thor movies were decent they aren't some of my favorite films, but I was entertained. There was not a lot I liked about this film and in fact, found a lot of it to be childish. Most of the performances are great. Chris Hemsworth is always great as Thor and it's great to see how his character has developed since the first film. Cate Blanchett as Hela was fantastic I loved every moment she was on screen. It's always fun to see Tom Hiddleston as Loki. The addition of Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk I enjoyed and his scenes with Thor were some of the only times I laughed in this film. My biggest problem with the movie is the humor most of it seemed childish. Another problem I had was Jeff Goldblum he is embarrassingly bad. My final problem was that the only action scene that I am going to remember in this movie is the one at the end. 2 out of 5 stars for Thor: Ragnarok. I hope you enjoyed my review.
