BAD MOMS MOVIE REVIEW
Bad Moms is directed by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. The film stars Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn, Jay Hernandez, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Christina Applegate. The plot of the movie is when three overworked and under-appreciated moms are pushed beyond their limits, they ditch their conventional responsibilities for a jolt of long overdue freedom, fun, and comedic self-indulgence. When I first saw the trailer for this movie I thought it looked horrible and I was not going to like it. I ended up being surprised at how much I liked this movie. It's great to see Mila Kunis in a leading role I am a big fan of her. Kathryn Hahn plays the obnoxious character and at times it can be a little much, but luckily most of the time she is very funny. Kristen Bell I haven't been a big fan of to me her roles are for the most part forgettable. She is great in this movie and I thought she was one of the standouts. All three of these actresses have amazing chemistry together and you can tell they are had a great time making this movie. Usually, with recent comedies, I don't find them funny at all, but I was surprised how many times I laughed while watching this movie. While the comedy is great easily my favorite part of the movie was the scenes with Mila Kunis's character Amy and her kids. There are a few really good emotional scenes involving them. My one flaw with this movie is Christina Applegate's character, Gwendolyn. She is just too unpleasant. Yes, in the end, you realize why she is that way, but I felt we should have found that out sooner it would have made the character a little more likable. 4 out of 5 stars for Bad Moms. I hope you enjoyed my review.
