WIND RIVER MOVIE REVIEW
Wind River is directed by Taylor Sheridan and stars Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Gil Birmingham, Jon Bernthal, and Graham Greene. The plot of the movie is an FBI agent teams with a town's veteran game tracker to investigate a murder that occurred on a Native American reservation. I had no idea what to expect going into this movie. I never saw a trailer for it, but I kept hearing about how good it was so I decided to check it out and I am so glad I did this is one of my favorite movies of the year. There is a fantastic preference by Gil Birmingham he plays the father of the young girl that is found dead. His performance is filled with a lot of grief, but also a lot of anger because he is upset about how his family has been treated by the government. The other people who live in Wind River feel the same way as the government is controlling them. Jeremy Renner is also dealing with a very troubled past. We get a lot of very excellent scenes between Renner and Birmingham. Elizabeth Olsen's character is not used to this environment, but she's not a weak character that needs to be saved all the time because she isn't used to where she is. She proves that during some intense action scenes. If I had to pick out something wrong with the film it would be that it does take a while to get going. 4 out of 5 stars for Wind River. I hope you enjoyed my review and I hope it helped you decide whether to see the movie or not.
