BABY DRIVER MOVIE REVIEW
Baby Driver is directed by Edgar Wright and star Ansel Elgort, Kevin Spacey, Lily James, Eliza Gonzalez, Jon Hamm, Jamie Foxx, and Jon Bernthal. The plot of the movie is after being coerced into working for a crime boss, a young getaway driver finds himself taking part in a heist doomed to fail. Going into this movie I was really looking forward to it I had heard that it was one of the best movies of the year. I ended up being very disappointed and I was bored by most of it. I get that everyone likes this movie it just didn't work for me. From the start, I didn't think it was clever and I didn't like the style of it. I didn't care about any of the characters and in a movie like this I have to have enough interest in the people in the car to care if they are going to survive and get where they are going. I do like Ansel Elgort and Lily James they did OK in their role but I felt they had no chemistry and the romance was forced. As for the other characters they are very forgettable. People are making a big deal about the soundtrack and I don't get it I didn't know any of these songs and as soon as the movie was over I forgot what songs were used. The film is directed well Edgar Wright is very talented. I get why most people like this movie, but it didn't work for me. 2 out of 5 stars for Baby Driver. I hope you enjoyed my review and I hope it helped you decide whether to see the movie or not.
