THE INCREDIBLES MOVIE REVIEW

The Incredibles is directed by Brad Bird and features the voices of Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell, Spencer Fox, Jason Lee, Samuel L. Jackson and Elizabeth Giacchino. The plot of the movie is a family of undercover superheroes while trying to live the quiet suburban life, are forced into action to save the world.    The Incredibles is an amazing movie and I would rank it as my fourth favorite Pixar film after the Toy Story trilogy. I feel that The Incredibles is one of Pixar's best-told stories. It's a simple story, but it really does keep you invested throughout because it is really well paced, really compelling and also a lot of fun. At first, I thought that there wasn't going to be much humor to be found in this, but as things progress it does manage to balance a semi-serious story with a slight superhero satire approach as well.    The Incredibles is a story that primarily follows Mr. Incredible and the main focus of the narrative is his refusal to accept anything but the superhero life and also his refusal to accept help from basically anyone else. It really is an interesting character study because his exclusion of others has profound effects on almost every other character in the film.     I love the family and I feel like each of them brought something different to the family dynamic. This is especially the case in the final act where they all team up and fight crime together. I felt like all the characters, not just The Incredibles were overflowing with individuality and personality these are all very memorable characters. I really love Frozone I think Samuel L. Jackson was the perfect actor for the role and it was nice to see him in a different type of movie. I think he is one of the funniest characters especially because of his famous where's my super suit scene.    When it comes to the overall comedic output of the film it does tread lightly to make sure it doesn't overdo it.  I also thought that this movie was exciting anytime the superheroes went into crime-fighting mode it felt like I was watching animated Avengers. 5 out of 5 stars for The Incredibles. I hope you enjoyed my review and I hope it helped you decide whether to see the movie or not.
