DESPICABLE ME MOVIE REVIEW

Despicable Me is directed by Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud. It features the voices of Steve Carell, Jason Segel, Russell Brand, Kristen Wig, Miranda Cosgrove, Will Arnett and Julie Andrews. The plot of the movie is when a criminal mastermind uses a trio of orphan girls as pawns for a grand scheme, he finds their love is profoundly changing him for the better.    With the upcoming release of Despicable Me 3, I decided to revisit the first film. When I first saw this movie a few years ago I found it extremely annoying. I am happy to say that my opinion has changed this is a very enjoyable movie. One of the things I really liked was the animation it's very creative and the character designs are great. The voice acting is really enjoyable as well. Steve Carell is hilarious as Gru and he showcases the evil side of Gru without making you dislike the character. The rest of the voice cast does really well. I also enjoyed the humor in this movie. There are some great adult Jokes and some of the jokes that were aimed at kids I found amusing at times. The Minions aren't as annoying as they could have been I liked that they are more side characters and I did laugh at some of the stuff they did. I also enjoyed the relationship between Gru and the Girls I liked how he grows to care about them. The only complaint I have is that the ending is predictable.    4 out of 5 stars for Despicable Me. I hope you enjoyed my review and I hope it helped you decide whether to see the movie or not.
