PROMETHEUS MOVIE REVIEW

Prometheus is directed by Ridley Scott and stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba and Charlize Theron. The plot of the movie is following clues to the origins of mankind, a team finds a structure on a distant moon, but they soon realize they are not alone.    I was excited to watch this movie even though I did not like the last two movies in the series. It has Ridley Scott back directing and it is the first in this new Alien prequel series. I loved this movie so much. The thing that I loved most was the visuals. This is one of the best looking movies I have seen in quite a long time. Anything that is on screen is so beautifully shot that you can't help but just be amazed while watching. What I loved about the first movie was that Ridley Scott made it this atmospheric and very creepy and slow building thriller of a movie and that's what he brought to Prometheus again. I love these slow-burn action thriller kinds of movies. For the majority of the movie yes there are some scares and some action here and there, but for the most part, Scott is just building the tension up to the point where it just gets too much and just needs to explode. The climax of this movie is absolutely wonderful it is one of the craziest things I've seen and one of the most violent things.    The performances from everyone are fantastic Michael Fassbender plays a robot and it is very convincing. Charlize Theron plays one of the biggest bitches in a movie recently, but she plays it so well and I was very impressed with her performance. Idris Elba was great he added a lot of humor to the movie which it definitely needed and everyone else was fine to those are just the standouts.    What I was really looking forward to was to see what kind of alien aspects it had and in the last 10 minutes that's when alien fans get what they want and it was so worth the wait.  5 out of 5 stars for Prometheus. I hope you enjoyed my review and I hope it helped you decide whether to see the movie or not.
